Grant Writing
How to Use the Grant Writing Tutorial
There are five modules of the Grant Writing Tutorial including, Formulating a Question, Your Proposal Team, Writing the Proposal, After Your Grant is Submitted, and Fatal Flaws and Common Pitfalls. These modules are designed to lead you, step-by-step, through the full sequential process of writing a grant. Also within the tutorial is a unique outline feature that allows you to build an online proposal outline. Read below to learn more about it!
Why Should I Use the Outline Feature?
This outline can provide an extremely helpful tool for both writing your proposal, and as a document to begin concrete discussions about your project with a prospective mentor. The outline will show a prospective mentor that you are serious about advancing the science of substance abuse and that you are able to communicate your goals for following through on a research project.
